Manual Mode

TV Mode

1. My favorite is the third manual mode one because the bubbles look good, the subject is in focus and there's a slight background blur that also looks good.

2. The manual mode photos were good, but the TV mode pictures were darker, and there wasn't really any background blur. Making the ISO higher probably would've helped with this.

3. For me, the best looking photos came when I shot the subject from the front. The side ones just didn't turn out as cool.

Action Photography Video

1. For an action shot to be good, it has to have good timing, as well as a good sense of the subject and the contents of the background.

2. I could go to a Cal High sports game to get some good action shoots, or go out into the hills around San Ramon and photograph wildlife there.

Making a Great Picture

1. An image becomes iconic when it is something that's interesting to the viewers, something that stands out and people remember it.

2. A great photograph must have good light and composition, as well as a subject that stands out.
