HDR Photo

1. This photo was my favorite out of all of them, since the HDR compliments the landscape and brings out the colors instead of just making everything look weird and fake.

Original Macro Lens Photos

Landscape Abstract Photos

Shape

Balance

Line

1. The last shot because it turned from a normal looking photo to an abstract one nicely.

2. The last one because it incorporates lines and texture well.

3. I used the rule of thirds, line, shape, texture, and value.

4. Still the last one.

Black and While Conversion Methods

Channel Mixer

Lab color

Gradient Map

Saturation

1. Lab color produced the best results.

2. Yes, Channel Mixer was the one that produced the greatest value range.

Edge Burn

Landscape Photography

1. I used the rule of thirds for some of the photos, and tried to emphasize the clouds and hills in the wide shot photos.

2. I used proportion, balance, and the rule of thirds to create more interesting and visually appealing shots.

3. We shot these right after noon, which turns out to be a good time because the sun was partly concealed behind some clouds.

4. I tried to emphasize the background more than the foreground, by making it the center of my photographs.

Macro Lens Photographs

1. Using the macro lens was surprisingly easy, and it made our photographs look good.

2. The first shot is my favorite, because it's the most visually appealing in my opinion.

3. The first shot does, since the focus is on the upper left line in the rule of thirds grid.

4. Balance, contrast, rule of thirds and symmetry were used.
