Shutter Speed and F-Stop Differences

1. Which setting worked the best?
  • Out of the settings I used, I thought putting the shutter speed at 1/20 and the F-Stop at 5.0 had the best results.
2. Which setting did not work at all?
  • Putting the shutter speed at 1/25 and the F-Stop at 10 was the worst, since the picture became much too dark as a result.
3. Did this exercise help you understand F-Stops better? How?
  • This exercise definitely helped, since I had absolutely no idea what they were before we learned it in class.
4. If you want to increase the depth of field in a scene and keep the same level of exposure, what are your options?
  • Decreasing the size of the aperture or decreasing the shutter speed while increasing the F-Stop.
